Cottage Pie combines quality British minced beef with carrots and peas in a rich gravy that uses a dash of Worcester sauce to give a real depth of flavour. To increase the variety of vegetables in this dish, we then top it with a sweet potato and carrot mash and a sprinkling of black pepper, which we think tastes delicious and helps make this a guilt-free mid-week meal.
