Although we are a small business, we have a big heart. Here at Kirsty’s we want our impact on the planet to be a positive one which means we are fully committed to taking care of our beautiful planet and the people within it.
We choose to focus on lots of small, but meaningful actions which we carry out on a daily basis in order to make a big difference in the long run.
Caring about our people
We care deeply about helping people and improving their wellbeing, whether that’s within our company or the wider communities, we aim to support in any way we can.
We are paying above the living wage to all employees and offer free healthy meals for everyone working at our factory.
Fighting food waste
We are proud to support the fight against food poverty by partnering with charities such as The Bread and Butter Thing and FareShare.
Together, these organisations help redistribute surplus food from supermarkets, manufacturers and farms to families and communities across the UK. Alongside providing nutritious food, they also offer vital support and advice on issues such as debt, housing, utilities, and mental wellbeing.
Working with these charities is something we are incredibly proud of, helping to ensure good food reaches the people who need it most while supporting families in our local communities and across the UK.

Release on Temporary License (ROTL) Scheme
We have been working in partnership with HMP Kirklevington Grange to provide employment opportunities for prisoners eligible for day release and nearing the end of their time in open prison with the ultimate goal of being able to offer permanent employment once they leave prison. This scheme supports the rehabilitation of offenders and looks to reduce the risk of re-offending upon release.
So far, we have 8 individuals in the business via this scheme and we have found it to be an incredibly successful initiative so far.
